How long does Heldsway take to verify my business?

Verification usually completes within a few minutes. In some cases it may take up to one business day.

Can I have different commission rates for different affiliates?

Yes. You set a default rate in Settings, but you can override that with a custom rate on any individual affiliate’s profile page.

What happens if a customer uses multiple referral links?

The last referral link clicked before the booking is made receives the credit. This is standard last-click attribution.

Can I pause an affiliate without terminating them?

Yes. Use the Suspend Affiliate action on their profile page. A suspended affiliate can be made active again at any time by clicking Approve Affiliate.

How do I know when a new affiliate has applied?

The Pending count on your Affiliates page will increase. Check the Affiliates list regularly to review new applications. [NEEDS CLARIFICATION: email notification feature]

Can an affiliate promote multiple products?

Yes. You can assign as many products as you like to any affiliate and generate individual referral links for each one.

Is there a minimum payout amount?

This is set by your own program rules. There is no system-enforced minimum — you decide when and how much to pay your affiliates.

What does the cookie duration mean in practice?

If an affiliate’s cookie duration is 30 days and a customer clicks their link today, any booking that customer makes within the next 30 days will be credited to that affiliate — even if they close the browser and come back later.
